Peer Review System
At ScienceVolks we value the importance of rigorous peer review in ensuring the quality and integrity of the scholarly articles we publish. The peer-review process plays a crucial role in evaluating the scientific merit, validity, and impact of research findings. This webpage provides an overview of our peer-review process for authors.
Submission: Authors are invited to submit their manuscripts through our online submission system. The submission should adhere to the guidelines and requirements outlined in our author guidelines, which can be found on our website. Upon submission, authors may be required to provide information such as the title, abstract, keywords, and author affiliations.
Editorial Assessment: Once a manuscript is submitted, our editorial team conducts an initial assessment to ensure it meets the scope and quality standards of our journal. This assessment may include evaluating the article's relevance, originality, methodology, and adherence to ethical guidelines.
Peer Review: Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial assessment undergo a rigorous peer-review process. We follow a double-blind peer-review system, where the identities of the authors and reviewers are kept confidential. Our editors select qualified experts in the field who have the necessary expertise to evaluate the manuscript.
Reviewer Selection: Reviewers are carefully chosen based on their expertise, research experience, and publication record. We aim to select reviewers who can provide insightful and constructive feedback to help authors improve their work. We may consider suggestions from the authors regarding potential reviewers, but final reviewer selection is at the discretion of the editor.
Review Process: Reviewers are provided with the manuscript, along with clear guidelines and evaluation criteria. They assess the manuscript's scientific validity, methodology, interpretation of results, clarity of presentation, and adherence to ethical standards. Reviewers are typically asked to provide comments, suggestions, and a recommendation (e.g., accept, minor revisions, major revisions, reject) to the editor.
Editor's Decision: Following the completion of the peer-review process, the editor evaluates the reviewers' comments and makes an informed decision. This decision is based on the manuscript's scientific quality, originality, relevance, and adherence to the journal's guidelines. Authors will be notified of the editor's decision, which may include acceptance, revision, or rejection of the manuscript.
Revision and Resubmission: If revisions are requested, authors are provided with the reviewers' comments and are given an opportunity to revise their manuscript accordingly. Authors should address each comment and provide a point-by-point response explaining how the revisions were made. Revised manuscripts are re-evaluated to ensure that the reviewers' concerns have been adequately addressed.
Final Decision and Publication: Once the revisions are satisfactory, the manuscript will proceed to the final decision stage. The editor will review the revised manuscript and make the final decision regarding its acceptance. Upon acceptance, the manuscript will be prepared for publication, including copyediting, typesetting, and proofreading processes.
Please note that the peer-review process timeline may vary depending on factors such as the complexity of the research, availability of reviewers, and the number of revisions required.
At ScienceVolks we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of peer review to promote the dissemination of high-quality research. We appreciate the contributions of authors and reviewers in ensuring the integrity and advancement of scholarly knowledge. For more detailed information on our peer-review process, please refer to the Peer-Review section and author guidelines, available on our website.
