BIOGRAPHY

Prof. Dr. Ayat Allah Farouk Ahmad Hussein MD is currently a professor of clinical neurophysiology, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University. She is a secretary general of the Clinical Neurophysiology chapter in the Egyptian Society of Neurology, Psychiatry & Neurosurgery (ESNPN). Dr. Ayat is also a referee in the promoting committee of professors and associate professors in neurology faculty of medicine, Egypt. Dr. Ayat is a Committee Member in the international relations in the American Clinical neurophysiology society (ACNS) and a member of (ISCEV) international society of clinical electrophysiology of vision and nominated member at large 2021. She is (AANEM)society, international federation of clinical neurophysiology (IFCN) teaching special interest group, member in the international federation of clinical neurophysiology (IFCN) neuromuscular special interest group. She is an appointed consultant interpreter for EEG in neonates paediatrics and adults in the Dr. Steve Coates global team registered charity organization in United Kingdom and Wales.

RESEARCH INTEREST

Prof. Dr. Ayat Allah Farouk's research interests include clinical neurophysiology, EEG, EMG, NCV, evoked potentials , polysomnography, transcranial stimulation , magnetic , electrical ,VEP, ERG.
