BIOGRAPHY
Prof. Dr. MEHMET EMIN CEYLAN MD, PhD. After graduated Medical school, he worked two years as a general practitioner and then he started his psychiatry residency at Bakirkoy Mental Hospital and together his residency for PHD at Marmara University in Istanbul. He became specialist at two fields in 1989. He became Associate Professor in psychiatry in 1989 and chief of service at Bakırkoy Mental Hospital in 1992. At these years, he published Journal of Clinical Psycho-Pharmacology Bulletin. At the same he organized the first Clinical Psychopharmacology Symposium in İstanbul. In 1992 and 1993 he worked at Aarhus University in Denmark as a scholarship. He is author of the book, Biologic Psychiatry In Research And Clinical Practice, written in four volumes, which is the largest medical book written in Turkey so far. In 1987, he was awarded as the most successful doctor of the year by Istanbul governorship, and also in 1995 he won the competition organized by Istanbul health directorship in medical research. He deserved his Professor title at 2012 in Uskudar University.
RESEARCH INTEREST
His research interest are Psychopharmacology, Neuropsychoanalysıs, Neurophylosophy, Microbiata and psychiatric disorders.
