BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Andjela Gavrilovic, Clinician, Belgrade, Serbia has worked as a clinical neurologist for more than 10 years, and in clinical research for more than 8 years. Working for WCT since March 2022. She began her medical career as a GP for the Railway Health Care Institute / Belgrade / Serbia. She started her clinical career at University Clinical-Hospital Centre Serbia as a Neurology Resident, and later continued as a Clinical Neurologist at Clinical-Hospital Centre Zvezdara, Belgrade. Her main responsibility was diagnosing and treating patients both in inpatient and outpatient clinics, as well as working in the ER. She is a certified electromyographer with 5 years' experience. Her involvement in clinical studies started two years after her residency. She was PI backup, Study Coordinator, Sub-Investigator and Rater. These studies covered areas of Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, Dementia and Polyneuropathy. She was engaged in COVID-19 red zone for two and half years. She has six published scientific papers as the co-author. Her scientific research and main point of interest were so far focused on demyelinating diseases of the central nervous system, neuro-degenerative, immune-mediated, and rare diseases. Dr. Andjela Gavrilovic has a Neurologist and Electrophysiologist Diploma from the Medical Faculty of Belgrade University, Serbia.
