BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Basem Battah is a professor in pharmaceutical biotechnology, Department of Microbiology and Biochemistry, faculty of pharmacy at SPU Syrian private University. He finished PhD in Life science and Biotechnologies at University of Sassari. He is a Scientific Researcher at Institute of Microbiology, Gemelli University Hospital, Catholic University - Rome, Italy. During his Post-Doctoral studies, he involved in various projects like - Studying the possible role of the PE_PGRSs proteins during autophagy process/Studying the anti-bacterial effect of the mesenchymal stem cells/Studying the anti TB activity of some new compounds.
RESEARCH INTEREST
His research Interest are Microbiology, Immunology, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Infectious diseases particularly tuberculosis.
