BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Fuad Ameen is an Assistant Professor of Mycology and Nanobiotechnology at King Saud University, Saudi Arabia. He worked as a member of the Accreditation and development and quality Committees in the department. He reviewed many articles in high ranking journals such as Scientific report; Planta Medica; Food chemistry, 3 Biotech and Saudi Journal of biological science. He is the author of more than 70 publications Published in high quality journals such as ACS Sustainable Chem. Eng. Journal (IF= 7); Journal of Cleaner Production (IF= 6.3), Journal of Molecular Liquids (IF 4.5), Microchimica Acta (IF = 5.7) and Frontiers in Genetics (IF= 3.7). Average impact factor per journal - 2.07.
RESEARCH INTEREST
His primary research interests are studying the genetic diversity of microbes obtained from different economically important patients, plants and other habitats. I also focus on active enzymes, microbial secondary metabolites production, antifungal, anti-cancer, mycotoxin production from fungi and nanotechnology.
