BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Dhritiman Samanta is an Assistant Professor of Microbiology at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. He received bachelor's and master's degrees in Zoology from The University of Burdwan in India and received Ph.D. in Microbiology from The University of Southern Mississippi. His research is focused on manipulation of host cellular pathways by obligate intracellular bacterium Coxiella burnetii.
