BIOGRAPHY
He started his medical career as an undergraduate from Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar. He completed his M.D in Internal Medicine from Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Srinagar. During his training period at SKIMS he became interested in Liver and Gut disorders which led him to attain his D.M in Gastroenterology and Hepatology from IGMC, Shimla. His pioneering work in cirrhosis has not only expanded the frontiers of knowledge but has also garnered recognition and accolades from peers worldwide. Dr. Majeed's expertise has been acknowledged through number of publications in reputable journals. He possesses a unique ability to synthesize complex concepts, which has earned him invitations to deliver keynote speeches and lectures at various academic platforms.
