BIOGRAPHY
Yong Zuo is finishing his Ph.D in Catalonia Institute for Energy Research (IREC) affiliated to the University of Barcelona, Spain. His research topic is focused on nanostructured functional materials for photo/electrocatalysis of water splitting and CO2 reduction. Previously, he obtained his master's degree in School of Chemistry & Chemical Engineering in Anhui University in May, 2016. Later he joined Prof. Andreu Cabot's group in IREC, Spain. In 2019.6-2019.9,he went to the LNCE group in Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland as a visiting guest working in electrocatalytic CO2 reduction. He has published 18 peer-reviewed publications so far, with a high impact factor rate.
RESEARCH INTEREST
1. Colloidal synthesis of nanoparticles with size, shape control. 2. Photo/Electro-catalysis of water splitting, particularly the oxygen evolution reaction. 3. Investigation of catalytic mechanism during catalysis process.
