BIOGRAPHY
Samy Oraby is currently the coordinator of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering Program (IME), Faculty of Engineering, Pharos University in Alexandria (PUA), Egypt. Former Professor of Production Engineering and Mechanical Design, Faculty of Engineering, Suez Canal and Port Said Universities, Egypt. Former Professor of Metal Cutting and Machining, College of Technological Studies, PAAET, Kuwait. A Ph.D in Manufacturing in 1990 from Department of Mechanical Engineering, The University of Sheffield, GB. Attracted and managed over 10 research projects in Kuwait. Published over 70 research papers in manufacturing and materials in various top international journals and conferences. Effective contribution to over than 20 publication journals and conferences with many tasks: chairing, editorial, organizing committee, scientific committee, international reviewing, etc.
