BIOGRAPHY

Asst. Prof. Dr. Thee Chowwanonthapunya was born in Nonthaburi, Thailand. He received the B.Eng. degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1999 and M.Eng. degree in Metallurgical Engineering in 2005 from King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi, Thailand, and the D.Eng. degree in Materials Engineering from Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China, in 2014. From 2014-2015, he was a lecturer with Faculty of Engineering, Burapha University, Chonburi, Thailand. Since 2015, he has been a lecturer and researcher with Faculty of International Maritime Studies, Kasetsart University, Sriracha, Chonburi, Thailand. Thee Chowwanonthapunya has more than 10 years of professional experience in failure and corrosion analysis at many petrochemical plants and power plants. Recently, he is a member of Nanoparticle journal editorial board and he has been certified and appointed as a Guest scientist of National Materials Corrosion and Protection Data Center, China, from 2020-2022.

RESEARCH INTEREST

His research interests include Applied Electrochemistry, Electrochemical Corrosion, Failure Analysis, Casting and Failure Analysis of metals.
