BIOGRAPHY

Short Biography*: Dr. Anil Annadi is an Assistant Professor of Condensed Matter Physics at the Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, India in the Department of Physics. He received Science Master's degree (M. Sc ) in physics from Osmania University, India in 2006, as well as a Technology Master's (M. Tech) in Solid State Technology from Indian Institute of Technology-Kharagpur, India in 2009. and a Ph.D. degree in physics from National University of Singapore in 2013. He was a postdoctoral fellow at University of Pittsburgh (2014-16), The University of Chicago (2016-2017) and National University of Singapore (2017-2019). He joined the Vellore Institute of Technology, India as an Assistant Professor in 2020. His research interests centre around the emerging field of multifunctional materials, transparent semiconductors, solid state electronics, and dynamical phenomena in oxide materials and films and heterostructures.
