BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Larry P Bleier received his dental degree(D.M.D.) from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine after first receiving his BS in biology at Rutgers University, New Jersey. After two years as a general dentist in the United States air force, he returned to Boston and was appointed to a two-year clinical fellowship in periodontology at the Harvard school of dental medicine and Harvard medical school. Dr. Bleier was also appointed resident in periodontology at the veterans administration hospital in the department of surgery, west Roxbury, Massachusetts and the Veterans administration outpatient clinic, Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Larry P Bleier received his initial implant training certification at the Branemark clinic in Gothenburg in Sweden, under per-Ingvar Branemark and his original clinical team in 1988. Dr. Larry P Bleier is board certified by the American board of periodontology since 1985. a member of the American dental association, American academy of periodontology, north-eastern society of periodontology, and past member of the academy of osseointegration. Dr. Larry P Bleier has lectured both nationally, and internationally, both at dental schools, hygiene schools, and as well at professional international meetings.

RESEARCH INTEREST

Dr. Larry P Bleier's research interests include engineered controlled surface finishing and combined pharmaceutical and chemical agents including antimicrobials to help control and arrest diseases in medicine and dentistry
