BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Gerber Stefan is a double qualified (MD, DMD) Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon from Switzerland and Fellow of the European Board of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery (FEBOMFS). His residency is at the Department of Craniomaxillofacial Surgery at University Hospital in Bern/Switzerland was followed by a one-year TMJ/facial deformity-fellowship in Oxford/UK. Currently Dr. Stefan is working as a Consultant at University Hospital Bern with a special interest in facial deformity, TMJ surgery and craniomaxillofacial traumatology. Dr. Stefan gives talks at national and international congresses and wrote the chapter about "Platelet rich fibrin (PRF) in TMJ arthroscopy" in Rick Mirons (Ed.) book "Understanding Platelet-Rich Fibrin", Quintessence Publishing, 2021
RESEARCH INTEREST
Dr. Gerber's research interests consists of Temporomandibular joint (TMJ), TMJ pain disorders, Platelet-rich fibrin in TMJ disorders, craniomaxillofacial traumatology.
