BIOGRAPHY
Alagesan Chinnasamy holds PhD in Population Oral Health from The University of Melbourne. He finished his masters in dental public health from Queen Mary University of London. He has a long track record as an academic in Dental Public Health and had worked in the UK, India and Middle East before pursuing his graduate research study in Australia. He has published research papers at national and international peer reviewed journals. His thesis was an exploratory modelling study on the economics of diabetes screening in the dental setting that has important policy implication.
RESEARCH INTEREST
Alagesan Chinnasamy has special interest in chronic disease epidemiology, health economics, health service research and health promotion.
